We all know that English is the official language in Kenya. The language is crucial in the Kenyan education system. All the subjects except Kiswahili are taught and set in English. The school has been at the forefront of equipping pupils with relevant skills in this language. Through dictation, handwriting coaching and thorough essay not forgetting compositions writing the pupils are adequately prepared to handle this language.
The handwriting and dictation practices have immensely improved the composition scores within the school.

The graph is improving and going up as a result of team work amongst the teachers. We need to understand English and its application in order to communicate effectively.
