HEAD TEACHER'S MESSAGE
Potters House Academy- Eldoret is an institution of learning that runs from the Kindergarten (3 year olds ) to Junior Secondary (15 – 16year olds); God willing we hope to take it all the way to the Senior School and beyond. We have the capacity and the capability. Our kindergarten is the best in this county and we are all proud of it while the primary section has proved to be among the KCPE giants not just in the region but also nationally.
Our excellent performance in both pre- school and primary sections is attributed to the dedicated teaching staff, cooperation with the stake holders- the parents and guardians- and close collaboration with the ministry of Education.
This crowned with quality leadership and complete support from management has seen us rise to where we are and are sure to go beyond.
Our school Motto is EXCELLENCE. As Dr Munroe rightly puts it, Excellence is a state of mind. It is the ‘THE HIGHEST QUALITY’; and it is our driving force. We strive for EXCELLENCE in all our activities; academically, socially, spiritually and even physically. We encourage our learners to be hungry for EXCELLENCE and always endeavor to stand out. We are inspired by Proverbs 22:29 which encourages us to excel in all we do as this will enable us to stand before kings. This is the foundation of our strategic goal setting.The good family relationship among the staff, parents and learners, is conducive for learning. As we transition to Junior Secondary, we expect to better the family relations as we shall be growing.
All work and no play make Jack a dull boy. Other than being among the best in the region in academics, we have also been participating in different co-curricular activities. We have been reaching the nationals in Music Festivals while our
scouts have been number one in all the competitions from the sub-county level to the regionals. As we go to press, our scouts are preparing to represent this region at the scouts national competitions to be held in Nairobi in the month of September 2022. We strive to develop an all round individual by giving the learners an opportunity to explore their talents, agility, strength and enthusiasm through music, games, athletics and quizes. We have a spacious play ground. We also participate in community activities. This year we walked for the Bibleless, organized by BTL.
Special thanks to all stakeholders who have made it possible to maintain the cordial co-existence of the Potters House Academy fraternity especially the PTA team. I anticipate forging an even stronger bond as we stride into Junior Secondary and beyond. It is my sincere hope that we shall face the challenges ahead of us COURAGEOUSLY for it is IN GOD WE TRUST
