Social Studies is considered a very complex subject because of its reading demands. Most learners prefer other subjects and have to be enticed into
loving it through a good teaching approach and a pleasant follow up activity.

At Potters, we teach using leaner friendly approach and encourage learner to
have a quire book for summary in term of mnemonic and songs to remind them and enhance content retention, this has helped us a great deal and
enabled us to gunner a mean score of 76.24 in the last year KCPE exams.

We work closely with parents to make learning lively and use pupils experiences, during Social Studies lessons with a view of assisting learners inculcate national values and qualities like citizenship, patriotism, obedience and law abiding . All these are geared towards, preparing learners for the next steps in their education and future life.
