Our Curriculum

At Potter’s House Academy, we follow an adapted form of the Kenyan Curriculum. This means that throughout the Primary School up to and including Junior Secondary students study the set national curriculum subjects, including Mathematics, English, Science, Geography, History, Art, Physical Education, Music, a modern Foreign Language and ICT.

Our Staff are all trained in Education and in other relevant fields to facilitate competence and delivery. They comprise the very best locally and internationally in their areas of teaching.

Potters House Academy Has 3 main sections: Pre-Primary, Primary and Junior Secondary

Pre-Primary Has 3 Levels

PlayGroup: This is for children below 3 years
PP1: This is the beginners for the CBC curriculum. Mostly, they are children aged 4 Years old
PP2: This is the advanced class preparing to graduate to primary level. Mostly, they are children aged 5 Years old

Primary Has 3 Levels

Lower School: This consists of Grade 1, Grade 2 and Grade 3 all under CBC
Middle School: This level consists of Grade 4, Grade 5 and Grade 6 all under CBC
Upper School: Consists of STD 8 under 8-4-4 Curriculum

Junior Secondary School (JSS)

This level consist of Grade 7, Grade 8 and Grade 9. Currently, we are at Grade 7 since this is the first CBC class since it’s roll out started. We will be having Grade 8 and 9 in the next coming years.
