Potters House Academy is known as an academic giant in the North Rift region, very little is known of its secret. Potters House Academy School treasures sports and games activities. This has tremendously helped to equip leaners with life skills such as teamwork, responsibility, accountability, self-confidence, critical thinking, leadership, endurance and self-discipline.
Through the vigorous aerobics, we produce boys and girls who are mentally and physically alert with healthy social life. Sports also helps children develop their motor skills and maintain physical fitness. A child with fine motor skills will be more adept at handwriting, thinking wisely and reasoning beyond their age. Children who play regular sports tends to have improved behavior. Not known to many, sports develop a sense of friendliness and eradicate lethargy. True sportsmanship is being gentle with positive mindset. Stay healthy; eat healthy and live life full of fun in sports.

We have worked to integrate sports into the lives of our students by having P.E lessons for each class with a trained coach every week. The importance of physical activity from an early age cannot be overstated and yet it not only works to build physical fitness but also mental and emotional stamina.

Participation in sports teaches good sportsmanship, helps build self-esteem and confidence, can motivate children to excel academically and can help build social skills. Additionally, it can also teach children the benefits of goal-setting and practice. Students are given room to build these basic and necessary life skills through competitive sports every Friday.
