Did you know that music is therapeutic? Some of us want to listen to a song and relax from a hard day or as we convalesce at home after an illness. Sometimes the lyrics of the song mesmerize us such that we drift into slamberland or we find ourselves singing along.
Think of the emotions associated with great happiness, anger, love, hatred or even condemnation. If this emotion were to be held back in the heart, they may destroy the individual, but when they are released in tuneful rhythmic lyrics, they serve to unburden the heart gradually.
This is a just a tip of the iceberg on what music is capable of doing to an individual. Music teaches, occupies the mind positively and creatively and can be turned into future career. I therefore say since singing is so good a thing, every person should learn how to sing, in music club the learners are introduced to a variety of song compositions, interpretation of beats and notes and playing various musical instruments. The club receives individuals who cannot sing a line but transforms them into musicians who sing like birds. This is achieved through voice training, coaching, and learning of musical notes.
Some learners have gone to a point of composing their own songs, which are already uploaded on the internet. Here in Potters we embrace cultural heritage and also nature talents through music and drama, we aim at producing an all-round individual who can fit in the diversified world
